The Right Time to Have Intercourse

We have seen that there is a relation between when you start to have the menstrual bleed, how long it lasts and the fertile window that will allow you to get pregnant. It is all about precision and when you want to know the right time to have intercourse, you will need to track time.

There are so many ways to track when you will be ready to get pregnant. You will find it to be incredibly easy to do when you have an easy way to track how you come along. There is the calendar that will help you with the pinpointing of the exact day and the signs.

These symptoms will occur as a precursor to the ovulation itself happening. That is what you will need to keep your eyes on if you want to know the exact day that you will be fertile.

The Cycle of the Menses

Here we are. Let us start with the cycle of the menses and work our way out on from here. We will use the standard that is a 28 day cycle to make this concept easy to explain. If you have a longer or shorter cycle, you will need to find something that is specific to you.

Here we will get to know what happens in those 28 days so that we can tell when you are going to be most fertile so that you can get pregnant when you want to.

Take the day that the menses begin to be the day one of the cycle because it is and that is how we count. We will get to the part where you will start to ovulate later.

The Day of the Ovulation

When you have a 28 days cycle that is regular, you will most likely have the ovulation happening on day 14 of the cycle. That is how you will get to know when you are most likely to get pregnant. There is something that is easy about telling when but the other factors come in.

We will only concentrate on this assuming that you are healthy and that you have been going through these checkups.

On second thought, I might as well tell you what the conditions have to be when you want to have good egg health so that you can have an easy time getting pregnant. That is how you will get to have it all and this is what is important.

Righting the Conditions

These are the things that you will need to do to make sure that you have proper egg health and that you have higher chances of being regular and hence, able to predict when you will ovulate.

  1. Excellent Blood Health

You will have to make sure that your blood is flowing freely and that you are much hydrated to prevent it from thickening. That is why you will need to make sure that you watch what you eat and make sure that you do exercises that help with blood flow.

  1. Balancing the Hormones

Ovulation happens like clockwork only when the hormones are working the way that they should and that is the reason why you need to make sure that they are balanced. Absence and or irregular periods will be an indicator that you are not balanced and it is time to do something.

  1. Nutrition Health

As we know that we are what we eat, there is a need to make sure that what you eat is all good food and then you will know for sure that you are healthy. You will have to watch everything that you eat and with any luck, you will fall into a regular cycle and predict correctly.

Fertile Window Facts

The fertile window will always come up when we are talking about fertility and ovulation. Here we are:

  • The six days leading up to and including the ovulation day are the best to have sex. Have it every single one of those days if you want to be pregnant.
  • The window will close when you have ovulated and 48 hours have passed.
  • You will need to know that sperm survives for 5 days in there and the egg for just 48 hours maximum.

As you can see, the time that you have sex has to overlap with the ovulation period. Check out this article about Trying to get pregnant?
